Hi, I'm Leah, the founder of Beauty Basins!

When moving into a new beauty salon in 2024, I soon came to find that the room I would be performing treatments in did not have any hot running water available, which is a legal requirement to ensure hygiene standards are kept. I then learnt that the cost of plumbing would cost thousands of pounds!

I searched everywhere for a portable heated sink unit that did not require any plumbing, however most were 'industrial' type units that were not very pretty to look at, and would look extremely out of place in a beauty salon.

With no other options left, I started working on building my own portable self-heating sink unit. After many months of trial and error (and a very wet salon), I finally created a water system that was reliable, efficient, effective and easy to use - whilst also being aesthetically pleasing at the same time.

After talking to other people in the industry, I soon realised that this was a common issue, and that my sinks could help others to save a large amount of time and money.

I started selling these sink units from my home in Macclesfield, England, and created the Beauty Basins that you see today.
